Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body
scanners at the airports. Have a booth that you can step into
that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device
you may have on you.
It would be a win-win for everyone, and there would be none
of this crap about racial profiling and this method would eliminate a long and expensive trial. Justice would be quick
and swift..

In a statement the authors of the paper said: "Since publication of our paper we have become aware of two mistakes which impact the detailed estimation of future sea level rise. This means that we can no longer draw firm conclusions regarding 21st century sea level rise from this study without further work.
"One mistake was a miscalculation; the other was not to allow fully for temperature change over the past 2,000 years. Because of these issues we have retracted the paper and will now invest in the further work needed to correct these mistakes."

Texas sues EPA, claims decision to regulate CO2 is based on flawed science
Governor Rick Perry, Attorney General Greg Abbot and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples announced today that the state is taking legal action in the U.S Court of Appeals challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to regulate green house gases.
“This legal action is being taken to protect Texas economy and the jobs that go with it, as well as defend Texas’ freedom to continue our successful environmental strategies free from federal overreach”, said Perry.

Obama Birth Cert. Dead In Water?
I was surprised to see the Obama birth certificate issue still alive and kicking. Three suits are pending. Link below for the lawyer. Why is he still pushing if he knows the suits have no merit? Here is a podcast page that has interviews with Mr. Berg (the lawyer). Listening to the Conservative hosts on TV one would think this subject is closed. I guess they are protecting their butts in the likely event things go south.
But let's imagine a scenario, economy in the tank, terrorist attack somewhere on U.S. soil, Republicans take one or both houses of Congress, birth certificate shown as fake or missing. Now we have real brewhaha!
