Translator collapsed during Khadafy's rambling diatribe

After struggling to turn Khadafy’s insane ramblings at the UN into English for 75 minutes, the Libyan dictator’s personal interpreter got lost in translation.

"I just can’t take it any more," Khadafy’s interpreter shouted into the live microphone – in Arabic.

At that point, the U.N.’s Arabic section chief, Rasha Ajalyaqeen, took over and translated the final 20 minutes of the speech.

"His interpreter just collapsed – this is the first time I have seen this in 25 years," another U.N. Arabic interpreter told The Post.

Despite my “enjoyment” of a good conspiracy theory, I am unable to see any credibility in the US Government having fore knowledge of 9/11. (Yes, I have seen the video.) But we are always in danger of forgetting 9/11. We naturally forget over time and there are those who want us to forget.

Kudos to our truck driving friend for his efforts to remind us.

PA's chief judge: Jews have no history in Jerusalem | Middle East | Jerusalem Post

The Palestinian Authority's chief Islamic judge, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi, said on Wednesday that there was no evidence to back up claims that Jews had ever lived in Jerusalem or that the Temple ever existed.

SLIDESHOW: Israel & Region World

Tamimi claimed that Israeli archeologists had "admitted" that Jerusalem was never inhabited by Jews.

Tamimi's announcement came in response to statements made earlier this week by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who said that Jerusalem "is not a settlement," and that "the Jews built it 3,000 years ago."

"Netanyahu's claims are baseless and untrue," said Tamimi, the highest religious authority in the PA. "Jerusalem is an Arab and Islamic city and it always has been so."

I know this is old but I ran across it again. After hearing some of the BS going on at the UN this week, I am reminded of the common thought patterns of Islamist/Communist/Socialist leaders. One must be impressed on some level with their logic and grasp of history. Are their populations really so ignorant as to believe this line of crap? I’m leaning toward population control. Maybe the Trilateral Commission is on the right track and we are being to critical.

Georgia Flood Losses Estimated at $250M 092209 | myfoxatlanta.com

ATLANTA (AP) - Damage from severe weather that has flooded north Georgia and killed at least eight people has been estimated at $250 million.

Insurance Commissioner John W. Oxendine announced the estimate Tuesday evening and said most of that amount is uninsured.

Oxendine said he spent time surveying the damage and many of the affected homeowners don’t have flood insurance.

Obama: U.S. Does Not Recognize 'Legitimacy of Continued Israeli Settlements'

In declaring that it is time for Middle East peace "without preconditions," President Obama used his speech to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday to fire a warning at Israel that "America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements."

Obama's stark declaration, which drew applause, was coupled with a call for Palestinians to end their "incitement of Israel."

But it was the use of the U.N. forum to carry the settlement message to Israel that drew the most enthusiastic response on the floor -- and incredulous reaction outside its walls.

Obama just put Israel "on the chopping block," said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton.

Who Is B. Obama and Why Is Valerie Jarrett Looking Over His Shoulder?

Many have wondered how ANYONE AS EXTREME AS Obama’S “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones – a self-described “Communist” obsessed with racial conspiracy theories – could have been named to head a federal agency. David Horowitz described the radicalization of the Democratic Party as the appointment’s subtext. Closer to the fore, Jones owed his elevation to another new factor: the unparalleled influence of Valerie Jarrett.

Economics 101

And you wonder why we are in trouble?
Congressman Pete Stark
This is sophisticated thinking on Mr. Stark's part. It is really the inverse logic of Quantum Theory. The laws of physics predictably apply at all observable levels until we get the the smallest levels and then those laws seem to break down. This apparently works in reverse with economics. Basic economic laws work until we get to the largest (governmental) levels and then things change.

An individual's wealth is determined by subtracting his liabilities from his assets and what remains is equity or wealth. On a macro level, a government (or big government) level these economic laws break down according to Mr. Stark. And they not only break down a little but the laws are flipped 180 degrees. To determine a government's wealth we must measure its liabilities. The higher a government's liabilities the wealthier.

I know what you are thinking, how can this be? Well, few, and I dare say no one, really understands quantum theory. This must be the same with reverse quantum economic theory. And as Mr. Stark points out, one must have serious, PhD level education and training to grasp the concept. I wonder if Mr. Stark has training in economics? But no matter, he assuredly knows someone who does, or knows someone who knows someone. And he is running things in the 13th District of California. I wonder how that is going? It is going well to be sure because Mr. Stark appears confident in his understanding of economics.

To extrapolate this principle one could conceive of the following simple example:

No individual can provide for themselves and every other person at the same time. This changes I assume on a macro level. Governments can do this. Governments can provide everything for everyone by borrowing money. I think this is a very exciting concept and we should try it immediately.

Pelosi Fears Violence

Ms. Pelosi fears violence from those horrible Obama critics. We must take responsibility for our words and we must balance freedom and safty says the right honorable Ms. Pelosi. What does she mean? Obviously she feels congress must somehow exercise control of people's language for the people's own good. We are carrying this free country stuff too far it seems. Buying our own health insurance does not work and now saying what we think does not work either. Is there a better example of Nanny State thinking?

Is anyone buying this crocodile tear act? It is indeed a crock of some sort. Yes there is a sucker born every minute but an entire populace can only be duped for so long without draconian controls. These controls can only be enacted in an environment of emergency. So let's create an emergency - an emergency of violence.

Edit: Apparently she is alluding to and distorting (shocking I know) some killing in San Fran years ago. Moscone and Milk if you are interested. Here is a short blurb on it. Demonizing Pelosi is like dogifying your collie. It is what it is. Here is the Wikipedia entry on Moscone and Milk. But there is some similarity with todays events. Just like some are trying to make everything about race in opposition to the Obamastate. Some try to make the Moscone/Milk killing about homosexuality. Patterns of behavior and logic reoccur with these fringe issue people.

Maybe she is referring to the homosexual White Night riots (acts of violence) after Mr. White's lenient sentence. Is it possible Ms. Pelosi is secretly homophobic? Perhaps we have discovered something important here. Is Ms. Pelosi using "hate speech"? I must call Moreen Dowd and see if she heard something.

KGB Defector: U.S. Still Target for Moscow

Tuesday, July 7, 2009 6:59 PM
By: Rick Pedraza

As President Barack Obama embarked on his weeklong international trip Monday, the first stop and main focus of the journey took him to Moscow, where he hoped to “reset” tense U.S.-Russian relations on nuclear arms and other issues.

But a former Russian diplomat who defected to the United States in 2000 said on Fox News that Washington should not fall into the trap of thinking the Cold War is over and that Russia still is bent on destroying America.

via> Newsmax

Comment:

If President Obama ever tires of “talking” to these people I’m certain Jimmy Carter would love the opportunity to grab exposure and hand over US concessions on everything everywhere.

Now Dear Leader has scrapped the long range missile defense and the Russians are happy as clams. Every liberal news agency in the USA is happy (see here). So are you sleeping better now? The one reasonable thing our government is supposed to do is defend us. Every time the Left takes control they gut defense and it takes years to rebuild it. I admire consistency, don’t you? Well, we need to save money so that government can do all the things it has no business doing. Don’t you see?

Some feel the US will be weakened and unable to respond to some coming prophetic invasion of Israel. If anyone can weaken us in a hurry, it is our current leadership. We have the perfect bunch in power. Maybe we should be rejoicing instead of complaining.

Carter’s Racism Charge Sparks War of Words - The Caucus Blog - NYTimes.com

Former President Jimmy Carter’s view that some of the recent protests against President Obama, including the “You Lie!” outburst by Representative Joe Wilson last week, are “based on racism,” has fueled a new war of words over this already charged issue.

Comment:

When will we ever be rid of this coat hanger. My friends in Atlanta had it right about Old Jimmy Carter. He is a failed, bitter old man who resents never having been given his “do”. Well, he has gotten his do, I think. Universally he is viewed as a failure and he deserves it (unless you are giving out those meaningful “peace” awards). Why he insists on proving his inadequacies daily and publicly is beyond me. He was duped by Ayatollah Khomeini and we have present day Iran, thank you Jimmy. And he is still being duped by these people. Actually I think he simply grabs any opportunity to get headlines with any idiot who will entertain this ridiculous piece of meat. What would possess him to think anyone on earth cares what he thinks about any current subject? I remember the media line of how intelligent this paragon of virtue was when he entered the White House. Yep you are the smart one Jimmy. You may fool some with your nail apron photo shoots, Jimmy, but I remember your presidential years all to well for you to fool me. Now please just shut up and go home. You are worthless to the bone and you will never be any different.

Can I forgive your indiscretions? Surely. Like the man who breaks into my house and steals. I can forgive him. But if he insists on returning, if he repeatedly breaks into my house … I will have to beat him about the head and ears with a hard object. You are certainly the undesirable guest who refuses to go home.

Mr. Carter,
I don't like you white and I don't like you black.
I don't like you in a car and I don't like you on a star.
I don't like you here nor there.
I don't like you anywhere.

Edit: I ran across this interesting article entitled "The Elvis Factor" on Carter's position. I was certain it would speak of how Jimmy would never really die but continue to make appearances (in Elvis sighting fashion) even after burial . But no, that is not his point. It is however a good point.

Conservative Radio Online

Finding good conservative streams can take some hunting and pecking. Some good sites are KRLA 870, KFI 640 and WYXC 1270. Radio stations make it tough to link directly to specific streams. They want you to go to their main page so don’t fight it, just do it.

KRLA 870 has 11-2 PM CST Dennis Prager, 2-5 PM Michael Medved

KFI 640 has 22-2 PM CST Rush Limbaugh, 10 PM – 5 AM Coast to Coast (if feeling crazy)

WYXC 1270 has 11-1 PM CST Laura Ingrahm, 8-11 AM Glenn Beck

Others stations do streams that may not be live and may fit your schedule better but these seem reliable most of the time. Dennis Prager and Michael Medved are well worth a listen. Their IQ appears unusually high for radio hosts. The others are fun at times. These shows are not always available locally so online streams can be the only way to get them for some of us.

Installing Firefox plug-ins for these sites can be a pain so you may wish to open them in an Internet Explorer tab or IE itself (in case you were born yesterday).

National UFO Reporting Center

Check out the reports by month here.

Why would you want to do this? Who knows but if UFO’s are part of the end time deception as some believe, it may be interesting. Sightings are increasing over the years or at least the reporting is increasing, or is that the facility for reporting is improving. A bunch of questions come to mind.

Anyway there is a place that tracks UFO reported sightings … interesting.

Found via L.A Marzulli’s Blog (You can decide if Mr. Marzulli’s blog is interesting or not. I find it a yawn but track it anyway. Mr. Marzulli has done some interesting things but his blog is, well, less interesting IMHO.)

BBC ON THIS DAY | 30 | 1991: Bush opens historic Mid East peace conference

1991: Bush opens historic Mid East peace conference

US President George Bush has encouraged Arabs and Israelis to "lay down the past" in his opening speech to the Middle East peace conference in Spain.

It is the first time in 43 years that Israel has sat down with all its Arab neighbours to discuss peace.

"Territorial compromise is essential for peace," said President Bush.

Then this:

The Perfect Storm

An enormous extratropical low is creating havoc along the entire Eastern Atlantic Seaboard in this infrared image at 1200 UTC (0700 EST) on October 30, 1991.

And this:

20-foot waves hit Bush's home

President Bush will interrupt a trip to the West this weekend to travel to his storm-ravaged vacation home in Kennebunkport, Maine.

"It's not good news," Bush told reporters Thursday. Bush's seaside home on Walker's Point suffered severe damage from waves at least 20 feet high that knocked out windows, Press Secretary Marlin Fitzwater said.

The first floor was virtually gutted, according to one White House source who said that water had covered the entire Bush property with his house sticking up like an island.

Comment:

So while Bush Sr. is announcing his glorious effort to divide Israel and bring peace, peace to the Middle East, his house is being suddenly destroyed. How very coincidental and Biblical. You just have to appreciate the irony of it.

Small Fringe Group Protests at Capitol

7322_129092312676_594142676_2665020_3882278_n

My newest partner in crime Jenny Hammond just sent me this photo from the Capitol showing a “small fringe group” of protesters who don’t represent America.

http://thelcabroadside.wordpress.com/

Comment:
This reminds me of a teaching by Les Feldick (a bible teaching rancher from Iowa). He was discussing the image Nebuchadnezzar had in his dream. As we go through history the kingdoms become less valuable in some way but are militarily stronger. Silver is less valuable than gold and so on. He pointed out that each succeeding kingdom had wider representation for decision making. Greece after Alexander had four, Romans had the senate and on through out history until we reach today with two houses of Keystone Cops all making decisions. He believed the march toward democracy (or some form thereof) was prophesied as a result. The point was not that representative government was bad but that it is inefficient and messy in many ways. And this watering down so to speak of the decision process would weaken the governments even though those governments could be militarily stronger.

This was a new view of things for me from a Biblical perspective. Is it correct? Maybe. But only the most dense of politicians in a democratic republic does not fear a ground swell in the populace. We have not seen the peasants storming the castle with hoes and pitchforks in my lifetime. Many of the protesters at the Republican Convention for example were young people bussed in and really "hired" to cause trouble, not all but many. They had no idea why they were there but to have a good time. It was hardly a plebiscite rebellion, more it was a beer bash in the hotel. The anti Viet Nam war protests had more general appeal but took dedicated fueling from media by Walter, Hollywood, and dare I say Communist elements. Yes the racial equality movement was a bonafide ground swell. But this current movement will need to progress against the winds of main stream media and the Executive and Congressional branches of government if it will progress at all.

I for one am surprised it not only still has life but seems to be gaining steam.

Joe Wilson Representative from South Carolina

http://media.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/congress/members/photos/228/W000795.jpg

Washington Post profile link

Forget about accessing Representative Wilson’s official site today, it is overwhelmed. Use your new infamy, Congressman Wilson, to your advantage. Take every interview and champion your cause. Do a little community organizing and one day you may even become President. I didn’t know who you were until last night and I like you already. I have no idea of your background or your accomplishments but with today’s low threshold of experience for presidential qualification I assume you are sufficiently qualified. Perhaps a Palin/Wilson ticket will appear and we can have a true knock down drag out run for 2012. No more pantywaist politics from the right. I would buy a front row seat.

Edit:Added 9/11

Since we are now admiring how the rest of the world does things and have a desire to emulate them maybe Bolivia can be a role model.

Is the Book of Genesis Plagiarized from Sumerian and Akkadian (Mesopotamian) Sources? | PaleoBabble

Is the Book of Genesis Plagiarized from Sumerian and Akkadian (Mesopotamian) Sources?

Posted by MSH under: Ancient Astronauts; Sitchin .

This is a common claim by Zecharia Sitchin and those who adore him, like his webmaster Erik Parker, and Jason Martell. As I have blogged here before (here and here), this idea was common fare toward the end of the 19th century, due primarily to two historical forces: (1) the novelty of the decipherment of cuneiform material, certain items of which sounded like Genesis stories; and (2) anti-Semitism being rife within higher-critical biblical scholarship. Today, in the 21st century (and one could say since the mid 20th century), scholars of Akkadian and Sumerian do NOT hold this view.  They just know better since they have a much more accurate grasp of Akkadian and Sumerian, as well as Semitic linguistics.

Report: Charlie Sheen Seeks Meeting With Obama to Discuss 9/11 'Cover-Up'

Sheen, 44, argues that “the official 9/11 story is a fraud” and claims the attacks served as “the pretext for the systematic dismantling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.” Moreover, he charges that the Bush/Cheney “regime” was behind the attacks as a prelude to justify an invasion of Iraq. Sheen also insinuates that Usama bin Laden is working for the U.S. government.

Comment:

And here I thought the 1/2 man was the little guy. Just goes to show ya. We here in the People’s Republic of Minnesota are familiar the Jesse Ventura effect among the electorate. Certain political candidates can inspire a lunatic uprising and be swept into office. President Obama’s “Tinkerbell Effect” has completely won the Euphorians© over. This will get crazier as time progresses. The fun has only just begun.

That Ole Time Gospel - Radio

Correction: Sonlife has done considerable updating and no longer works with RadioShure. MS Windows Media Player does fine or Winamp, ect. Here is the link (http://jsm.ic.llnwd.net/stream/jsm_radio_high) if you want to enter the http address directly into a player.

Many threw Jimmy Swaggart out with the scandal water. But sometimes I crave an old time gospel service and worship music that matches and it doesn’t get any better than Jimmy Swaggart and Son Life Radio (for ole time gospel that is).

Go get a copy of Radio Sure and grab either portable or installer. Crank it up and it will look like this (thanks glasnost or is that perestroika):

Type in the word Jimmy and listen. It’s a treat if you ask me. This is the stuff I remember as a child. It only happened at special meetings and we had to drive out of town to get it. We lived in Viking Land which had two Lutheran churches and one small Catholic church in town and you were not hearing this in there. The little Lutheran Brethren church we attended was full of dedicated Christians, but let’s face it, if you ain’t Pentecostal, you can’t pull off dynamic worship with any consistency. I have my suspicions as to why but I’ll keep them to myself for now.

Donny projects some stridency but maybe he will grow on me. It appears the Swaggart family made it through the tough times. We must admire a family who not only doesn’t give up but builds. I've heard it said never trust a preacher who doesn’t walk with a limp (remember Jacob’s thigh). I think I can hear that limp in Brother Swaggart. (whoa - “brother” I’m gettin’ the lingo down)

Sure you could go to Pastor Swaggart’s website but then you miss out on a fun little internet radio player. I found the player while perusing the LiberKey site. LiberKey is a portable software data base to place on your hard drive or flash drive. It updates the programs automatically and easily. The update feature is awesome. I used many of these programs before I found LiberKey and had to chase down the updates individually. Vive la France! And that may be the only time you ever hear me say that – seriously. I lifted my boycott to accept the free LiberKey. Hey principal only runs so deep.

I’ve been trying to stay away from much ‘puter talk on the blog but then again I was trying to steer clear of politics also. Couldn’t help myself.

Edit: To explain LiberKey better; the LiberKey program is itself portable as well as the programs which reside in the directory. It resides on the disk without installing. When you start LiberKey it updates itself first. Then it checks on the individual programs within the data base and offers to update those if updates exist. The only thing that takes a little manual hunting is if some program has been added to the package after you initially downloaded it. LK will not add these programs automatically. If you view the program list on LK's web site these programs are clearly marked and you can download a manual install from here if you wish to add the program. Activate the LK associations after download and the new program can be added to LK. Remember to turn off "associations" when done. Henceforth that program will update. You can add additional programs from LK that are not included in you specific package. You can also add and index your own programs but I don't bother because I simply have LK as an addition to my portable directory. I use Launchy to actually find and start the programs. Launchy is another program I can no longer do without.

Again, I am stupendously impressed with this LiberKdy portable collection and management system.

via <Atlas Shrugs>

We all know that we should not profile, right? And why do we know that?

We Know This Instinctively

There are things we just instinctively know. Human life is valuable and should be preserved. That is something I instinctively know. But wait. There are those who “instinctively” know that human life does not have value unless that life is giving something of value back to society. So they instinctively know that society (the state) has intrinsic value. Human life only has value when and if that life provides benefit to the state.

Does this beg the question of who decides what is valuable? The “state” decides I suppose, in some bureaucratic form. Has not history shown this progression of deciding value, if and when society in general is valued above the individual?

So are humans exceptional or not? Here is a view from Dave Niose, President of the American Humanist Association, the USA's oldest and largest humanist organization. Maybe our views on the uniqueness of humanity is not instinctive and maybe it comes from a mix of culture, religion, education, and self-serving ambition, etc. Whatever the source, man’s views on human uniqueness run a full spectrum.

We see increasing pressure on human uniqueness. In the Matrix movie Agent Smith while interrogating Morpheus describes humans as a virus. "You are a plague, and we are the cure," proclaims Agent Smith. We clearly see this in Mr. Niose’ thinking. The increasing meme of humans destroying and using up the planet at intolerable rates is intense and extreme. This is simply a variant of the human animal paradigm.

Our good old USA has been dominated to this point by beliefs tending toward the uniqueness of humanity in comparison to all other life on planet earth. So Grandma has value even though she can not remember your name. But there is increasing pressure from the “man is just another animal” factions. Many see the current President/Czar/Pelosi-Congress as leaning more toward the “were just animals” side of things. This has become a central issue to the healthcare debate. An interesting blog on these issues is Second Hand Smoke.

I see another “we instinctively know” disagreement in the healthcare debate. How does a society pay for unlimited healthcare for all. The short answer, as we have seen and heard, is we can not. That brings in the rationing debate with all the “we must cut something” language from both sides. Why are both sides needing to talk about cuts? Because neither side dares take a Capitalist position. Can Trickle Down Economics work even with healthcare. This is something I instinctively believe. When the economic engine is running full steam, enough money and value is created in society that a majority of people benefit. When the capitalist economic engine of healthcare is chugging down the track we have advancements, discoveries, value and personnel aplenty. And all this trickling down in diverse and unequal ways.

Are there people who do not benefit? I would ague no. Everyone benefits. But there is inequality. Some benefit more than others. So here is the rub. If your “instincts” are such that economic and social equality is achievable, then you will see this trickle down structure as inadequate. Nothing will suffice but total and complete sameness. Oddly enough those in a position of power, those who decide, are always on some different benefit delivery track – Animal Farm all over again.

Healthcare is simply the ever popular boogie man for the communist/socialist/utopians to advance their collective agendas. Sure there are serious and concerned people on all sides of this issue. But the driving force is utopian collectivism. When has that ever worked? Please say Cuba, come on – I dare you.

Here is an interesting podcast interview with Wesley J. Smith from Second Hand Smoke.

Rounding Out The Political Posts - Debt Stinks

Did Sarah Palin truly derail Obama's health care and make him unelectable in 2012 as stated on Voting Female. That is affording Ms. Palin too much credit I think. But she does have a way of rallying the troops. I think the power elite on both sides of the aisle are afraid of Sarah Palin. They like to recite her lack of "qualifications" and joke about the ludicrousness of Palin Presidency. It must be conversely unnerving that Mr. Obama is now seated in the White House. B. H. Obama is, when logically judged and analyzed, equally if not more "unqualified" than Sarah Palin. All she needs is a little polishing, a huge power center and a little luck. OK, a lot of luck.

A Look Back (What Did We Know and When Did We Know It?)

Have you met people who are surprised at President Obama's current direction in policy and his selection of associates? I have. Do you need to resist asking under what rock they were living prior to the election? Hey, I think the whole world is heading for the toilet anyway in apocalyptic fashion but there is no need to rush the flush.

They Took Me Out Of Context -Van Jones

Mr. Van Jones is right. His comments seem slightly less objectionable when the context is expanded. Perhaps with even broader context his point would become clear but for the life of me I can't understand what he is saying. He clearly is making a black/white comparison of some kind. Black kids have all kinds of positive roll models and white kids do not? Is that one point? Is that true? Black kids have a superior support system to white kids? What is his point?

One thing this broader context did for me (over the shorter clip we see on TV) is clarify that Mr. Van Jones seems not to be implying any superiority/inferiority based on a genetic racial level. I will say using school shootings is a poor selection. Statistically few school shootings occur. Would not one suspect the perpetrators would come from the majority population? Unless of course school shootings had a cultural base as does suicide bombings. Maybe we should background check the school shooters for a lutefisk connection. (My Norwegian background surfacing.)

If this were the only problem Mr. Van Jones had, we could over look it. Sadly his history is far richer.

What Do Political Cartoons Say About The Public Mood?

Someone emailed several political cartoons to me. Here are two examples. So in the finally turned the Bush Bashing corner, these seem sign posts of sorts. These would only be telling of the public mood if they appear in “main stream” media. But then again we can enjoy them no matter where they appear.

Is this the Teddy Kennedy who "taught his son to love Republicans"? Just curious.

Oh yes, I almost forgot:

I have been abducted by aliens, says Japan's first lady - Asia, World - The Independent

Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of Japan's Prime Minister-elect, Yukio Hatoyama, is a lifestyle guru, a macrobiotics enthusiast, an author of cookery books, a retired actress, a divorcee, and a fearless clothes horse for garments of her own creation, including a skirt made from Hawaiian coffee sacks. But there is more, much more. She has travelled to the planet Venus. And she was once abducted by aliens.

Comment:

I am interested when “alien abduction” claims sound from higher places. I suppose we can consider the Japanese Prime Minister’s wife near this category (a higher place). Yes, she knew Tom Cruise in a previous life. How Shirley MacLaine of her. But still if enough people speak out their claims of something, no matter how ridiculous, those claims become more acceptable and gradually gain credibility in the public psyche. I still think there is something significant to the alien abduction/ufo phenomena in relation to eschatology. No I do not believe we are dealing with intelligent space creatures.
