Don't get your underwear in a bundle. (Or maybe you should) He still doesn't set a date for the "rapture." And if he is wrong on timing, he may have other insights of relevance. There is value in considering all the possible scenarios in eschatology to separate the wheat from the chaff in our own thinking and understanding. People who lock into a singular view will most likely not understand what is happening as the end time picture develops. Can there be a clearer example of locked vision than the Jews who were so convinced about the coming Messiah that they didn't know Him when He stood in front of them?
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
How can we see if we do not look? Does "look up" mean gaze into the sky? Please!
